APPLICATIONīefore they filled out their Application section, I gave them a “Who Do You Lean On?” Worksheet. This verse teaches us to place ourselves under God’s authority in all we do.Īnd he will make your path straight – When we submit to and trust in God, He will lead us and show us the way to go. In all your ways submit to him – Submit means to put yourself under the authority of another. Lean not on your own understanding – The opposite of trusting in God is depending on yourself and your own understanding. We can learn to trust God, even when we don’t understand His plans or His ways. We know that we can fully depend on God for anything and everything.
